Master Trooper Dean A. Goodheart

Goodheart joined the Patrol on November 1, 1972, and was assigned to Valley Center following completion of the academy.

Master Trooper Larry L. Huff

Huff joined the Patrol on September 14, 1970, and was stationed in Ulysses. He transferred to Clay Center in 1979. Huff was promoted to Master Trooper in June of 1993.

Trooper Ferdinand F. (Bud) Pribbenow

Pribbenow joined the Patrol on July 13, 1959. Upon graduation from patrol school, he was stationed in Columbus. In 1962, he was promoted to Trooper Class A and transferred to the Patrol's Kansas Turnpike detail in Wichita.

Trooper Conroy G. O’Brien

Trooper Conroy G. O'Brien joined the Patrol on September 18, 1974, and was assigned field duties in Wichita. O'Brien transferred to the Patrol's Kansas Turnpike detail in 1977.

Trooper James D. Thornton

On July 1, 1949, Thornton joined the Highway Patrol and was assigned as a Driver's License Examiner in Garden City. He was promoted to Trooper in 1951, and began field duties in Finney County. Thornton transferred to Wellington in 1957. In 1969, he transferred to the Patrol's Kansas Turnpike detail, remaining in Wellington. In September of 1973, he transferred to Topeka.

Sergeant Eldon K. Miller

On January 13, 1953, Eldon K. Miller began Highway Patrol Recruit School in Hutchinson and was assigned as a Driver's License Examiner in Lawrence. He was promoted to Trooper in August of 1953, and began field duties in Douglas County.

Lieutenant Bernard C. Hill

On April 15, 1946, Bernard C. Hill joined the Patrol and was assigned to field duties in McPherson. Hill transferred to Wichita in 1960, and was assigned later that year to the Patrol's Kansas Turnpike detail. Trooper John McMurray

McMurray joined the Patrol on October 1, 1962, and attended Patrol school at the University of Kansas. Upon graduation, he was stationed in Manhattan.

Trooper Jimmie Jacobs

Jacobs joined the Patrol on July 16, 1956. After field training in Ulysses, he was stationed in Wellington. He transferred to El Dorado in 1959.

Trooper Maurice R. Plummer

Maurice R. Plummer attended Wichita Police School in 1941 and was assigned as a trooper in Hays. He was promoted to Trooper Class A in June of 1942.
