Basic SWAT School - REGISTRATION CLOSED.

The SWAT basic training is designed to give new operators the confidence and knowledge to start their SWAT career. It will teach a multitude of topics to include multiple clearing techniques (2x2, deliberate entry, breach and hold, contain and callout, dynamic entry etc.) SWAT equipment and use, mindset, communication, high risk warrant service, barricaded subjects, hostage rescue, active countermeasures, range drills, inner perimeter, emergency response team, large structure clearing, less lethal use, and vehicle deployment techniques. The course will also go over different breaching techniques, specialty equipment, K9 integration, and negotiators. Simulations will be integrated into the SWAT training curriculum to provide a realistic training experience. You will need to return this registration form along with a letter from your supervisor on department letterhead stating that they support your entrance into this class. Course is limited to 10 people.
