    This program will aid the officer in the inspection of commercial vehicles and their operators to assure a safer working environment, to reduce deaths and injuries from commercial vehicle crashes, and to increase public safety in the movement of consumer and industrial goods by highway. Class size is limited to 20. The instructors are from Troop I/MCSAP of the KHP.

  2. Advanced SWAT School - REGISTRATION CLOSED

    March 29, 2021, 8:00 AM - April 2, 2021, 5:00 PM @ Kansas Highway Patrol Training Academy 2025 E. Iron Ave. Salina, KS 67401

    The advanced SWAT training will cover a variety of topics but will focus a lot of time on weapons safety, weapons manipulation, and range time. This course will also cover various clearing techniques with your primary weapons platform, down officer recovery, and hostage rescue. At the conclusion of this course students will have a better understanding and more confidence of their weapons and their shooting abilities. Students will also improve and enhance their moving techniques and have a better understanding of overall SWAT missions. REGISTRATION: You will need to return this registration form along with a letter from your supervisor on department letterhead stating that they support your entrance into this class. Course is limited to 10 people. Registration Deadline is March 01, 2021 at 1700 hours.

  3. ICS 300 - KHP ONLY

    The course will be held on March 31st, April 1, 7 & 8. ***You must sign up for this course through the KSTrain. ICS 100, 200, 700, and 800 classes are must be completed prior to being able to take 300. Contact LT Josh Weber at josh.weber@ks.gov.
