"All-terrain vehicle" means any motorized nonhighway vehicle with the following:

  • May be driven on county / township roads and within the city limits, if allowed by the city.
  • The county, KDOT or persons contracting with the government to eradicate weeds may operate an ATV along the rights-of-way of federal and state highways, and incidentally operate upon such highways. Lights, as required for motorcycles required between sunset and sunrise.
May not be driven
  • On any federal or state highways.
  • On any interstate highway.
