Yokley Promoted to Lieutenant

Colonel William Seck, Superintendent of the Kansas Highway Patrol, has announced that Sergeant Chuck Yokley was promoted to lieutenant on February 13, 2005. In this role, he is the administrative lieutenant for Troop H, located in Chanute.

Yokley joined the Patrol in June of 1989 as a trooper, performing road patrol duties in the Chanute area. In 2000, he was promoted to master trooper. His promotion to sergeant occurred in 2002 and he became the public resource officer for the area.

As a member of the Patrol, Yokley has served as a Troop H director for the Kansas State Troopers Association. He has also been a field training officer and traffic stop recruit trainer. In 2000, he was the recipient of the Patrol’s Superintendent’s Award.

Yokley received his bachelors degree from Missouri Southern State College in criminology.
