Finney County Receives New Trooper

Colonel William Seck, Superintendent of the Kansas Highway Patrol, has assigned Trooper Herb E. Bradley to Finney County. Trooper Bradley received the assignment following his recent completion of an extensive 22-week basic law enforcement course at the Patrol’s Training Academy in Salina.

Trooper Bradley graduated from Red Hill High School in Bridgeport, Illinois. He attended Northwestern Oklahoma State University, studying criminal justice.

Prior to joining the Patrol, he was a police officer with the Northwestern Oklahoma State University Department of Public Safety in Alva, Oklahoma. He started his career in law enforcement in 1996 as a reserve officer for the Hennessey Police Department and was then an Assistant Chief of Police with the Waukomis Police Department.

Trooper Bradley has begun his field duties under the supervision of Trooper Clayton Tarpley. Upon completion of field training, Trooper Bradley will assume patrol duties in Finney County.
