Sedgwick County Receives New Trooper

Colonel William Seck, Superintendent of the Kansas Highway Patrol, has assigned Trooper Scott A. Koehn to Sedgwick County. Trooper Koehn received the assignment following his recent completion of an extensive 22-week basic law enforcement course at the Patrol’s Training Academy in Salina.

Trooper Koehn graduated from Augusta Senior High School in Augusta, Kansas. Since 1997, he has served as a member of the security forces in the United States Air Force.

Trooper Koehn has begun his field duties under the supervision of Master Trooper Brent Lies. Upon completion of field training, Trooper Koehn will assume patrol duties in Sedgwick County.
