Phillips County Receives New Trooper

Colonel William Seck, Superintendent of the Kansas Highway Patrol, has assigned Trooper Brandon R. Miller to Phillips County. Trooper Miller received the assignment following his recent completion of an extensive 22-week basic law enforcement course at the Patrol’s Training Academy in Salina.

Trooper Miller graduated from Downs High School in Downs, Kansas. He attended North Central Kansas Technical College studying plumbing, heating, and air conditioning. Prior to joining the Patrol, he was a custodian at Lakeside High School in Downs.

Trooper Miller has begun his field duties under the supervision of Trooper Charles Boydston. Upon completion of field training, Trooper Miller will assume patrol duties in Phillips County.
