Colonel William Seck, Superintendent of the Kansas Highway Patrol, has assigned Trooper Jeanie S. Pearson to Sedgwick County. Trooper Pearson received the assignment following her recent completion of an extensive 22-week basic law enforcement course at the Patrol’s Training Academy in Salina.
Trooper Pearson graduated from Nickerson High School in Nickerson, Kansas. She received her associates degree in criminal justice from Hutchinson Community College. Between 2000 and 2004, she served as a deputy sheriff with the Haskell County Sheriff’s Office in Sublette, Kansas.
Trooper Pearson has begun her field duties under the supervision of Trooper Dale Brooks, Jr. Upon completion of field training, Trooper Pearson will assume patrol duties in Sedgwick County.
