Marshall County Receives New Trooper
Colonel William Seck, Superintendent of the Kansas Highway Patrol, has assigned Trooper Jeremy M. Bachura to Marshall County. Trooper Bachura received the assignment following his recent completion of an extensive 22-week basic law enforcement course at the Patrol's Training Academy in Salina.
Trooper Bachura is a graduate of Council Grove High School. He has an associate's degree of applied science in automotive technology from Flint Hills Technical College. Trooper Bachura is a sergeant in the U.S. Army Reserve, where he serves with the military police. He worked as a police officer for the Riley County Police Department before joining the Patrol.
Trooper Bachura has begun his field duties in Washington County under the supervision of Master Trooper Keith Mintzmyer. Upon completion of field training, he will assume patrol duties in Marshall County.
