Allen County Receives New Trooper
Colonel William Seck, Superintendent of the Kansas Highway Patrol, has assigned Trooper Randall L. Cameron to Allen County. Trooper Cameron received the assignment following his recent completion of an extensive 22-week basic law enforcement course at the Patrol's Training Academy in Salina.
Trooper Cameron is a graduate of Junction City High School. He has a bachelor's degree in social science from Upper Iowa University/Fort Riley Campus. Trooper Cameron served 12½ years on active duty in the U.S. Army, transportation and military police, including two deployments to Iraq. He has served two years as a sergeant in the U.S. Army Reserves, transportation and military police.
Trooper Cameron has begun his field duties under the supervision of Trooper Shawn Hines. Upon completion of field training, he will assume patrol duties in Allen County.
