Sedgwick County Receives New Trooper

Colonel William Seck, Superintendent of the Kansas Highway Patrol, has assigned Trooper Michael P. Conely to Sedgwick County. Trooper Conely received the assignment following his recent completion of an extensive 22-week basic law enforcement course at the Patrol's Training Academy in Salina.

Trooper Conely is a graduate of Remington High School in Whitewater, Kan. He studied police science at Butler County Community College. Prior to joining the Patrol, Trooper Conely was a merchandising supervisor at Circuit City in Wichita.

Trooper Conely has begun his field duties under the supervision of Trooper Paul Perez. Upon completion of field training, he will assume patrol duties in Sedgwick County.
