Sherman County Receives New Trooper

Colonel William Seck, Superintendent of the Kansas Highway Patrol, has assigned Trooper Joshua H. McQuitty to Sherman County. Trooper McQuitty received the assignment following his recent completion of an extensive 22-week basic law enforcement course at the Patrol's Training Academy in Salina.

Trooper McQuitty is a graduate of Salina South High School. He has a bachelor's degree in criminal justice from Fort Hays State University.

Trooper McQuitty has begun his field duties under the supervision of Trooper Joe Greene. Upon completion of field training, he will assume patrol duties in Sherman County.
