Douglas County Receives New Trooper

Colonel William Seck, Superintendent of the Kansas Highway Patrol, has assigned Trooper Casey A. Simoneau to Douglas County. Trooper Simoneau received the assignment following his recent completion of an extensive 22-week basic law enforcement course at the Patrol's Training Academy in Salina.

Trooper Simoneau is a graduate of Palco High School. He has a bachelor's degree in criminal justice from Fort Hays State University.

Trooper Simoneau has begun his field duties under the supervision of Trooper Joshua Kellerman. Upon completion of field training, he will assume patrol duties in Douglas County.
