Sedgwick County Receives New Trooper
Colonel William Seck, Superintendent of the Kansas Highway Patrol, has assigned Trooper Andrew M. Waller to Sedgwick County. Trooper Waller received the assignment following his recent completion of an extensive 22-week basic law enforcement course at the Patrol's Training Academy in Salina.
Trooper Waller is a graduate of Wichita North High School. He has a bachelor's degree in criminal justice/psychology from the University of Kansas and a master's degree in criminal justice from Wichita State University. During his studies, Trooper Waller participated in internships with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms and the U.S. Marshal's Service.
Trooper Waller has begun his field duties under the supervision of Master Trooper Ronald Harris. Upon completion of field training, he will assume patrol duties in Sedgwick County.
