McCartney Retires from the Patrol

Colonel William Seck, Superintendent of the Kansas Highway Patrol, has announced that Senior Administrative Assistant Cora McCartney has retired from the Patrol after 19 years of service.

McCartney joined the Patrol on Sept. 3, 1987 as an Office Assistant IV. She became a Senior Administrative Assistant in November 2001. McCartney retired on April 21 as the senior administrative assistant in Troop E, in southwest Kansas.

McCartney is a graduate of Natoma High School in Natoma, Kan.
