Shawnee County Receives New Trooper

Colonel William Seck, Superintendent of the Kansas Highway Patrol, has assigned Trooper Bryan Clements to Shawnee County. Trooper Clements received the assignment following his recent completion of an extensive 22-week basic law enforcement course at the Patrol’s Training Academy in Salina.

Trooper Clements graduated from Santa Fe Trail High School in Overbrook, Kan. Prior to joining the Patrol, Clements was an assistant parts manager at Laird Noller Ford in Topeka. He has more than 24 years experience in automotive parts sales, as a counter person and assistant manager. He enjoys playing softball and hockey, coaching his son’s hockey team, and being an umpire for softball.

Trooper Clements has begun his field duties under the supervision of Master Trooper Mark Engholm. Upon completion of field training, Trooper Clements will assume patrol duties in Shawnee County.
