Geary County Receives New Trooper

Colonel William Seck, Superintendent of the Kansas Highway Patrol, has assigned Trooper Daniel McNeil to Geary County. Trooper McNeil received the assignment following his recent completion of an extensive 22-week basic law enforcement course at the Patrol’s Training Academy in Salina.

Trooper McNeil graduated from Wellington High School in Wellington, Kan., and has a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from Wichita State University.

Trooper McNeil has begun his field duties under the supervision of Master Trooper Richard Hageman. Upon completion of field training, Trooper McNeil will assume patrol duties in Geary County.
