Saline County Receives New Trooper

Colonel William Seck, Superintendent of the Kansas Highway Patrol, has assigned Trooper Alex Taylor to Saline County. Trooper Taylor received the assignment following his recent completion of an extensive 22-week basic law enforcement course at the Patrol’s Training Academy in Salina.

Trooper Taylor graduated from Sacred Heart High School in Salina, Kan., and has a bachelor’s degree in justice studies from Fort Hays State University.

Trooper Taylor has begun his field duties under the supervision of Trooper Scott Walker. Upon completion of field training, Trooper Taylor will assume patrol duties in Saline County.
