Orr Promoted to Procurement Officer III

Colonel William Seck, Superintendent of the Kansas Highway Patrol, has announced that Vickie L. Orr was promoted to Procurement Officer III on September 20, 2006.

Orr began her employment with the Patrol on June 1, 2001, as an Office Specialist in the Procurement Section at General Headquarters in Topeka.  On November 9, 2003, she was promoted to Procurement Officer I.

Orr has been employed by the State of Kansas since 1984, having worked for the Kansas Department of Transportation, Topeka State Hospital, and The Kansas Lottery prior to her employment with the Patrol.

Orr is a graduate of Highland Park High School in Topeka.
