Bourbon County Receives New Trooper

Trooper Brandon Koch

Colonel William Seck, Superintendent of the Kansas Highway Patrol, has assigned Trooper Brandon A. Koch to Douglas County.  Trooper Koch received the assignment following his recent completion of an extensive 22-week basic law enforcement course at the Patrol’s Training Academy in Salina.

Trooper Koch graduated from Clifton-Clyde High School in Clyde, Kan., and he studied electrical engineering at Kansas State University.  Prior to joining the Patrol, Koch was a foreman at Component Fabricators in Manhattan, Kan., for two years.

Trooper Koch has begun his field duties under the supervision of Trooper Josh Kellerman.  Upon completion of field training, Trooper Koch will assume patrol duties in Douglas County.
