Bourbon County Receives New Trooper

Trooper Justin Olberding

Colonel William Seck, Superintendent of the Kansas Highway Patrol, has assigned Trooper Justin R. Olberding to Bourbon County.  Trooper Olberding received the assignment following his recent completion of an extensive 22-week basic law enforcement course at the Patrol’s Training Academy in Salina.

Trooper Olberding graduated from Centralia High School in Centralia, Kan.  He has a bachelor’s of arts degree in criminology from Benedictine College in Atchison, Kan.

Trooper Olberding has begun his field duties under the supervision of Trooper Jeff Scott. Upon completion of field training, Trooper Olberding will assume patrol duties in Bourbon County.
