Saline County Receives New Trooper

Trooper Justin Olberding

Colonel William Seck, Superintendent of the Kansas Highway Patrol, has assigned Trooper Justin C. Rohr to Saline County.  Trooper Rohr received the assignment following his recent completion of an extensive 22-week basic law enforcement course at the Patrol’s Training Academy in Salina.

Trooper Rohr graduated from Hill City High School in Hill City, Kan., and he studied communications at Northwest Kansas Technical College in Goodland, Kan.  Prior to joining the Patrol, Rohr was a senior lineworker at Embarq in Hesston, Kan., for nine years.

Trooper Rohr has begun his field duties under the supervision of Trooper Chris Hammond.  Upon completion of field training, Trooper Rohr will assume patrol duties in Saline County.
