Seward County Receives New Trooper

Trooper Nathan Voss

Colonel William Seck, Superintendent of the Kansas Highway Patrol, has assigned Trooper Nathan S. Voss to Seward County. Trooper Voss received the assignment following his recent completion of an extensive 22-week basic law enforcement course at the Patrol's Training Academy in Salina.

Trooper Voss graduated from Cheney High School in Cheney, Kan., and he has a bachelor's of science in restorative community justice from Bethel College. Prior to joining the Patrol, Voss was a reserve sheriff's deputy for the Harvey County Sheriff's Office.

Trooper Voss has begun his field duties under the supervision of Master Trooper Donald Leatherman. Upon completion of field training, Trooper Voss will assume patrol duties in Seward County.
