Miles Promoted to Communications Specialist II

Colonel William Seck, Superintendent of the Kansas Highway Patrol, has announced that Communications Specialist Nikki C. Miles was promoted to communications specialist II on July 15, 2007.

Miles joined the Patrol on May 13, 2001, as a communications specialist I assigned to provide dispatching services from the Patrol's Troop M (Central Communications Center) in Salina. She was promoted to communications specialist II in May 2003. Miles became a senior administrative assistant at Troop C headquarters in Salina in August 2004. As a member of the Patrol, Miles received a Certificate of Appreciation in July 2007 for her duties while performing at the Troop C headquarters.

Miles is a graduate of Lyons High School in Lyons, Kansas. Before joining the Patrol, she was an administrative office clerk at Raytheon Aircraft in Salina.
