Barton County Receives New Trooper

Trooper Dan DiLoreto

Colonel William Seck, Superintendent of the Kansas Highway Patrol, has assigned Trooper Dan W. DiLoreto to Barton County. Trooper DiLoreto received the assignment following his recent completion of an extensive 22-week basic law enforcement course at the Patrol's Training Academy in Salina.

Trooper DiLoreto graduated from Macksville High School in Macksville, Kan. Prior to joining the Patrol, he served as a patrol officer with the Great Bend Police Department for four years.

Trooper DiLoreto has begun his field duties under the supervision of Trooper Darrin Hirsh. Upon completion of field training, Trooper DiLoreto will assume patrol duties in Barton County.
