Ottawa County Receives New Trooper

Trooper Travis Noon

Colonel William Seck, Superintendent of the Kansas Highway Patrol, has assigned Trooper Travis J. Noon to Ottawa County. Trooper Noon received the assignment following his recent completion of an extensive 22-week basic law enforcement course at the Patrol's Training Academy in Salina.

Trooper Noon graduated from Minneapolis High School in Minneapolis, Kan., and earned a bachelor’s of science in justice studies from Fort Hays State University.

Trooper Noon has begun his field duties under the supervision of Master Trooper Derric Thompson. Upon completion of field training, Trooper Noon will assume patrol duties in Ottawa County.
