Trooper Jeffrey Schawe

Colonel William Seck, Superintendent of the Kansas Highway Patrol, has assigned Trooper Jeffrey J. Schawe to Sedgwick County. Trooper Schawe received the assignment following his recent completion of an extensive 22-week basic law enforcement course at the Patrol's Training Academy in Salina.

Trooper Schawe graduated from Dodge City High School in Dodge City, Kan. He earned an associate’s of arts in criminal justice from Dodge City Community College and a bachelor’s of science in criminal justice/law enforcement from Wichita State University. Prior to joining the Patrol, Schawe had internships at the Dodge City Police Department, Wichita Police Department, and the Kansas Highway Patrol Troop F headquarters in Wichita.

Trooper Schawe has begun his field duties under the supervision of Master Trooper Anthony Barnett. Upon completion of field training, Trooper Schawe will assume patrol duties in Sedgwick County.
