Sherman County Receives New Trooper

Trooper Perry Frey

Colonel Terry Maple, Superintendent of the Kansas Highway Patrol, has assigned Trooper Perry M. Frey to Sherman County. Trooper Frey received the assignment following his recent completion of an extensive 22-week basic law enforcement course at the Patrol's Training Academy in Salina.

Trooper Frey graduated from Campus High School in Haysville, Kan. Prior to joining the Patrol, he was a groundskeeper at the Sedgwick County Zoo in Wichita, Kan.

Trooper Frey has begun his field duties under the supervision of Trooper Joe Greene. Upon completion of field training, Trooper Frey will assume patrol duties in Sherman County.
