Sedgwick County Receives New Trooper

Trooper James Robinson

Colonel Terry Maple, Superintendent of the Kansas Highway Patrol, has assigned Trooper James M. Robinson to Sedgwick County. Trooper Robinson received the assignment following his recent completion of an extensive 22-week basic law enforcement course at the Patrol's Training Academy in Salina.

Trooper Robinson graduated from Great Bend High School in Great Bend, Kan. Prior to joining the Patrol, Robinson was a patrolman with the Hutchinson Police Department in Hutchinson, Kan. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1998 to 2002, most recently holding the rank of corporal in the infantry.

Trooper Robinson has begun his field duties under the supervision of Trooper Allen Bosley. Upon completion of field training, Trooper Robinson will assume patrol duties in Sedgwick County.
