Colonel Terry Maple, Superintendent of the Kansas Highway Patrol, has assigned Trooper Josiah L. Trinkle to Ellsworth County. Trooper Trinkle received the assignment following his recent completion of an extensive 22-week basic law enforcement course at the Patrol's Training Academy in Salina.

Trooper Trinkle graduated from Covenant Harvest School in Pittsburg, Kan. Prior to joining the Patrol, he was an assistant supervisor at Pitsco, Inc., in Pittsburg.

Trooper Trinkle has begun his field duties under the supervision of Master Trooper Brent Van Buren. Upon completion of field training, Trooper Trinkle will assume patrol duties in Ellsworth County.
