April 23, 2018, 8:00 AM - May 4, 2018, 5:00 PM @ KHP Training Academy
This class is for the LEO who has completed the intermediate accident investigation course, mastered the basic accident investigation techniques, and is ready to progress to the next level of analysis. Its purpose is to prepare a student to reconstruct traffic crashes. Upon successful completion of this class, participants will be able to use and interpret the information and data available to them, generally gathered in lower levels of traffic crash investigation, to discover undetected facts and use their knowledge to deduce the circumstances that will affirm or refute a theory of how the collision happened. The course materials use numerous mathematical and physics formulas, so a proficiency in algebra is helpful. This class is required for Trooper Advancement, and is a prerequisite for Accident Reconstruction course.
Coordinator: KHP C.H.A.R.T. Team
